The exhibitions are inspired by our wide range of collections and are developed in-house and in partnership.

North West Touring Exhibitions Group
In partnership with a number of North West Museums and Galleries we are discussing ideas for touring exhibitions, drawing upon national and regional collections.
From these discussions a series of spotlight tours are being developed. The first tour consists of newly commissioned contemporary Bengali scrolls collected by National Museums Liverpool in collaboration with charity organisations in India. Indian colleagues have selected the themes of the scrolls to best reflect Bengali culture and Bengali artist's perceptions of recent global events including, the Iraq War, the Tsunami and the Gujarati earthquake.
A selection of the scrolls will tour to a number of regional venues in 2011 to 2012.
