Room guide
- We have an
online room guide
to help you plan your visit. It features a map of the building, with highlights for each of the rooms. Guides are also available from the information desk
Cloakroom -
coats, bags and buggies can be left at the main information desk on the ground floor and at the shop information desk in the basement. Free lockers are available for large bags in the ground floor cloakroom.
Shop
- The shop is in the basement and sells a wide range of books, cards, gifts and prints.
Café
- The café is also in the basement. Visit our
shopping and eating page for more information.
Free wifi -
There is a free wifi connection at the Lady Lever café.
Picnic area
- There are areas of grass around the Lady Lever Art Gallery which can be used for a picnic. There is also an indoor picnic area available in our
activitiy rooms
from 12-2pm at weekends and during school holidays.
Prayer room
- We do not have a prayer room, but visitors can use the education room if it is available. Please ask a member of staff.
Audio guides
- Visitors can borrow audio guides from the front information desk.

- Visitors wishing to access our archives should contact the information desk on 0151 478 4136.
Artwork on display -
We sometimes loan objects to other galleries or remove them for conservation. If you are visiting to see a particular work we suggest you contact us in advance to ensure it is on display. Call the information desk on 0151 478 4136.
