Learning
We are committed to supporting and engaging with people from all cultural backgrounds. We strive to create activities and events that directly relate to and are representative of the culturally diverse communities of Liverpool and beyond. Our work celebrates the different cultures that make up Liverpool and explore their histories, traditions and the contemporary issues they face.
We are also committed to working with local and wider groups of refugees and ssylum seekers including adults, families and young people. We run a range of learning and creative activities that provide opportunities to further knowledge, build confidence and develop community links in a safe environment. We also have a range of ESOL resources to support students who are learning English as an additional language.
A full events programme for Black History Month 2009 is available on this website. You can also find out more about Black History Month and National Museums Liverpool's involvement with it on the International Slavery Museum's website.
Organisations and agencies that work specifically with culturally diverse groups are also welcome to get in touch with us to find out more about what we offer.
