The former Transatlantic Slavery gallery
Against human dignity
This former gallery was originated and generously supported by the Peter Moores Foundation. It examined transatlantic slavery and sought to increase understanding of what has happened to people of African descent in the modern world.
A new museum
The former Transatlantic Slavery gallery was so successful that we have expanded it to create the new International Slavery Museum|. Please note that the Transatlantic Slavery gallery closed before the new museum opened in 2007.
