Party at the Museum - Christmas menus 2009
There are two Christmas lunch menus. One for individuals and smaller groups and the other for parties of 30-100 people. We also offer an evening gala menu through our hospitality service.

Individuals and groups under 30 people
Starters
- Leek and potato soup with soda bread (v)
- Smoked and poached salmon terrine, pickled walnuts
- Game pie with turnip mash, pork crackling
Main course
- Roasted Goosnargh turkey with Parma ham, Cumberland chipolata, cranberry stuffing, crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and roasting juices
- Roasted sole fillet with spinach, sautéed polenta and salsify, cream sauce
- Chestnut, mushroom and winter vegetable cobbler with a sage and onion scone, pickled red cabbage
Dessert
- Strawberry trifle fool
- Sticky toffee Christmas pudding, ginger ice cream
- Tangerine and satsuma salad, orange sorbet
Larger groups (30-100 people)
A deposit of £10/person will be required as confirmation of large group bookings.
