"For me there are several layers – with glimpses of –

an essential sweetness and succulence contained in nature and being
the chaos and catastrophe lurking in everyday experience
examples of our common follies and frailties
arrogance and aggression as accepted
tyranny teeters towards apocalypse
tyrants and pious pretenders swoop

the last layer is hope.
Within us there is enchantment, wisdom, guile and intelligence…
So while there is life there is hope."
