Room guide
- We have an
online room guide
to help you plan your visit. It features a map of the building, with highlights for each of the rooms. Guides are also available from the information desk
Cloak room
- There is a staffed cloakroom on the ground floor where visitors can also leave prams. Large bags and umbrellas are not permitted on the gallery. Please note that your bag may be searched on entry.
Shop
- The Walker shop is on the ground floor and has a selection of jewellery, postcards, prints, books and gifts on sale.
Café -
The café is also on the ground floor. Visit our
shopping and eating page for more information.
Free wifi
- There is free wifi access in the Walker café.
Picnic area
- You can take a picnic to St John's Gardens, which are opposite the Walker.
Prayer room
- We do not have a prayer room.

Artwork on display
- We sometimes loan objects to other galleries or remove them for conservation. If you are visiting to see a particular work we suggest you contact us in advance to ensure it is on display. Call the information desk on 0151 478 4199.
