Adze

An adze blade in dark grey stone, with an asymmetrical outline and a rounded quadrangular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The surfaces of the poll and back are bruised, the rest ground and polished. The butt is rounded. The bevel is concave, and the chin curved. The cutting edge is curved and oblique. The front profile is convex, the back slightly concave on the blade, convex (tapering) on the butt. The cutting edge is sharp. There is a slight fracture on the bevel.
