Adze

An adze blade in grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and a rounded quadrangular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The side surfaces are bruised/ground, and the front and back polished. The back edges are very rounded. The bevel is convex, and there is no chin line. The cutting edge is curved. The front and back profiles are convex, and the poll pointed. The cutting edge is sharp and chipped. The poll edge is also sharp. There are old fractures on the poll and the front.
