Adze

An adze blade in grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and oval cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The surface is ground. The poll oblique. The bevel is convex with a chin curved. The cutting edge is curved. The front and back profiles are convex. The cutting edge is sharp. There is an orange deposit on the surface, particularly the poll, which may be weathering.
