Adze

An adze blade in dark grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and rectangular cross-section. The butt is cut straight across obliquely. The upper blade surfaces are flaked or fractured, the lower surfaces polished. The bevel is convex and the chin line curved. The cutting edge is oblique. The front profile is convex, the back irregular. The cutting edge is sharp, and badly fractured on one side.
