Balanites Aegyptiaca Fruits

Seven pieces of fruit and kernels of Balanites aegyptiaca. Collected at the pyramid town of Lahun by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889-90. Kept within a glass lidded cardboard box. Annotation in black in on a piece of paper kept inside the tube by Percy Newberry: "Fruit & stones of the fruit of an unknown dicotyledonous plant. P.E.N. Kahun XII dynasty". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Some damage to surface, surface dirt, cracked surface. Dimensions are for the container.
