Bastet Amulet

Blue and black glazed faience amuletic figure of Bastet as a lioness-headed figure clasping a sistrum and seated upon a throne with open-work representations of Neheb-kau on the sides; suspension ring at the back of the head. Compare with British Museum EA 64586 (Carol Andrews, 'Amulets of Ancient Egypt',1994, p.34).
