Information

String of beads, shells and an amulet from a burial dated to the Third Intermediate Period. From tomb 1200 excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society, 1925-26, and given to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in return for their subscription. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface dirt, pitted surface on some beads, running crack in pendant, worn edges, discolouration to white beads.
