Bracelet with serrated bar stamp

Information
Broad-band arm-ring or bracelet decorated with serrated bar stamp. Penannular, with punched ornament; portion of one terminal area has been removed. Bent roughly in half and flattened, it tapers strongly from an expanded mid-portion towards the terminals, the extant example of which is roughly rounded. The outer face is ornamented with a row of closely spaced vertical (transverse) bar-stamping, over-struck in places, formed with a punch with a raised median line and serrated edges, to either side of a central diagonal cross comprising four impressions and a vertical part stamp impression in each of its outer angles. Discovered as part of the Huxley Hoard.
