Chamaeleo dilepis Leach, 1819

A large chameleon with a continuous crest on the throat and belly, a long prehensile tail. Colour varies from pale yellow through green to shades of brown, the crest is white and there is usually a pale bar and several white spots on the flanks. Length up to 35 cm.
