MMM.2011.12
Information
This saucer was made exclusively for Titanic and is one of only nine to have survived intact. Spode’s pattern was the grandest china service on board. It was most likely to have been used in the first class passenger suites or as part of a VIP service for private parties. White Star used a number of Spode patterned china services on board its liners supplied by Stoniers of Liverpool.
