An amulet in the form of a djed-pillar, both a symbol of the god Osiris and a hieroglyphic sign which means ‘enduring’, ‘stable’ and similar concepts. Mould-made from turquoise-coloured glazed faience.
Purchased by Sir Francis Danson from Talbot-Ready via Rollin and Feuardent, London (23 April 1909).
