South Italian (Campanian) deep cup (skyphos), decorated in the red-figure technique. Decoration: female head in profile on each side, separated by palmettes. The head in one side is slighhtly larger than then other side. The women both wear a sakkos on their hairwith a curly tuft to the side of the face. The hair seems to be be tight ina knot at the back of the head. The slip is worn and there is one main crack splitting the vessel into two on the body but it was restored.
