Drinking Vessel

Deep cup ('banded skyphos') conical base, two horizontal handles one at each side just below the rim. The decoration is on the exterior of comb designs in a light buff cl;ay band, most of the rest of the body is in dark brown. Undeneath the base there are concentric circles at the centre and thin round bands at the periphery of the base. There is much accretion at the exterior of the cup and the decoration has faded.
