Egyptian alabaster hemispherical form ear stud. In shape the piece resembles a papyrus column with widely flaring umbel. Small sized compared to others in the collection.
CONDITION NOTE 1998: Worn, surrface dirt.
Gatty Slip (1873): Seven alabaster studs in shape of mushrooms, used for ear ornaments - Four have only the circular tops.
