Eurovision Song Contest butter churn – yes that one!
This butter churn perfectly encapsulates the cheeky joy of Eurovision 2023 hosted in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine.
If you are one of the millions of viewers who watched the final on 13 May you may recognise it from when presenter and comedian Mel Giedroyc used it to churn butter in a suggestive nod to the Polish Eurovision entry, Donatan and Cleo, in 2014.
The Museum of Liverpool has saved the churn for the nation, along with other fabulous objects to help tell Liverpool’s larger than life role in Eurovision, when we were all ‘United in Music'.
