Limestone figure in the style of Horus of Edfu minus a crown. Very roughly carved with many chisel marks. Marked in black "P VI 12". Label stuck to the back marked 44 [Boscawen's catalogue number]. Red writing on the base, like other objects from the collection of Robert de Rustafjaell. Ancient or forgery? 

CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, chipped, worn, surface loss, surface dirt, label adhered to surface.
