'Futility or the Wreck of the Titan'

Book: 'Futility or the Wreck of the Titan' by Morgan Robertson. Published in 1912. Orginally written in 1898 the story involves a liner named Titan which sinks after hitting an iceberg in the North Atlantic with the loss of most of the crew and passengers as it carries only the required number of lifeboats which is not sufficient to carry all those onboard. Parallels with the fate of Titanic were drawn in 1912 and the book republished with some amendments to highlight the similarities.
