HMS Hood capsized

Glass lantern slide by unknown photographer, 4 November, 1914. Imahe shows HMS "Hood", Admiralty, scuttled and capsized at the entrance to Portland Harbour, Dorset. "Hood" was used as a blockship to prevent German U-boats from entering the harbour during the First World War.
