The Knight in Rusty Armour

This drawing by Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale was for a coloured illustration in an edition of Tennyson's 'Idylls of the King', published in 1911. It illustrates the passage, "Yniol's rusted arms were on his princely person, but thro' these Princelike his bearing shone". The design was exhibited at Leicester Galleries, London.
