Votive Box with a Lizard Figure

Lizard figure on top of a small shrine-shaped box that would have held a votive animal mummy. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, holed and spilled. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 105316: MUMMY BOX. Iron, surmounted with lizard. 5/8" x 2¼" x ¾". (Incomplete). Egyptian. Purchased for Sir Henry Wellcome by Captain Saint from Pusgal, Cairo. February 1931.
