Mould

Reddish-brown pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience amulets in the shape of the Eye of Horus (wedjat). A white substance is still visible in the mould cavity. Rounded back to mould. Very small size. Compare with W M Flinders Petrie, Tell el-Amarna (London, 1894), plate XVII, no. 249.
