Mould

Brownish-red pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience objects in the shape of a flower, perhaps a small daisy. A white substance is visible in and around the mould cavity suggesting its use. Irregular rounded back to mould. Compare with W M Flinders Petrie, Tell el-Amarna (London, 1894), plate. XVIII. no. 396.
