Mould

Greyish-brown pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience objects in the shape of a daisy. A white substance is visible in the mould cavity suggesting its use. Various string impressions are also visible on the outer edge of the mould. Irregular rounded back to mould. Compare with W M Flinders Petrie, Tell el-Amarna (London, 1894), plate. XVIII. no. 399.
