Mould

Brownish-red pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience objects in the shape of a daisy. The cavity is deep and cone-shaped. A white substance is visible in and around the mould cavity. Irregular rounded back to mould. Compare with W M Flinders Petrie, Tell el-Amarna (London, 1894), plate. XVIII. no. 418
