Information

Mummified young crocodile wrapped in linen. Previously tied together as a group of eight when acquired as a gift from Joseph Mayer in 1867. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Fragmenting textile, very discoloured, powdery fragmentation, areas of crocodiles exposed, surface dirt.
