Mummified Falcon

Mummy of a falcon with two different types of bandaging. Feet modelled like a human mummy but now coming away. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum mo. 171872 [Lot 49, Fosters 31 July 1930, Comins - acquired with another mummified falcon, accession no. 1973.4.150, as part of the same lot]. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Some areas of loss, surface dirt, some lifting of bindings.
