Information

Pottery pilgrim flask (ampulla) with a flat circular shaped body and narrow neck. Inscribed on one side in Greek and on the other side an image of Saint Menas who was a native of Egypt, and a Roman soldier. He suffered martyrdom under Diocletian about AD 300 - 304.
