Postcard showing Lusitania arriving in New York. The handwritten note refers to her first arrival in New York on 14 September 1907 - she actually reached her detination on the 13 September. On the 14 September she was berthed at Pier 54 with crowds of people getting their first glimpse of this already famous ship. This postcard is part of the Cecil Minnitt collection (see also MMM.2005.72.1 and MMM.2005.72.2).
