Liverpool’s fifth Pride was held on 2 August 2014 to coincide, as in previous years with the anniversary of the homophobic murder of Liverpool teen Michael Causer in 2008.  The theme of Liverpool Pride 2014 was Glam Fairy Tales.  

The Pride march from St. George’s Plateau attracted a large number of people and converged at the Pier Head.  Unlike previous years, access to the three official stages was by charged ticketed entry with a free community area close to the Pier Head Stage.  Despite poor weather, which even blew a stall in to the canal, it proved to be extremely popular.

 The line up for 2014 included Katy B, Sonia, Heather Small, Kylie-A-Like, Abba Gold, and Sam Fox.
