This watercolour painting depicts the designs for a male figure from the play 'Queen Victoria'. An inscription to the right of the figure identifies them as 'Albert 1842'. The figure has black or dark brown hair and a moustach. They are depicted standing wearing a white swirl-patterned waistcoat with a black line detail along the lapel. This is worn above a white shirt with a white necktie and with a black tailcoat and trousers.
