Religious Figure / Lama

Bronze statue of Lama, Chrisities description suggests Mongolian. He wears the patchwork robe of the monk and a shawl decorated with large lotus flowers. He is seated in the yogic position on a double lotus pedestal. His left hand is resting, upturned in his lap, while his right hand reached down in bhumisparsha mudra. He has a receding hairline and there are traces of gilt to the face. The base is open and the contents have been removed.
