Information

End of an oval strigilated (S shaped decoration named after the scrabbing tool, the strigil) sarcophagus showing a lion ready to devour a roe deer. The lion has its left back paw (possibly a restoration) on the deer's body. The deer is completely submissive, only raising its head but giving in to his fate. The lion's mane is deeply drilled. The right side restored and a patch on top of the left. It looks like the relief has been smoothed.
