Sarcophagus

Lid of child's sarcophagus. Made from marble from Luna in central Italy. Symmetrical arrangement with Pan-masks at corners, then satyr (to the left) and Dionysus (to the right) reclining, with at the centre masks and cantharus (vessel with two handles).
