Scabbard Chape

The lowermost terminal mount of a scabbard (chape). Worked in relief on one side with the head of a bull. In place of horns is a stylised lotus bloom, the remaining part with scrolling patterns in low relief. The flat surface has a rectangular slot. Probably from Persepolis.
