Scarab

Steatite scarab seal crudely decorated on one side with details of the wings, head and legs, but surface is very dirty and most of it covered by a Norwich Castle Museum label. The other side is inscribed with the cartouche of Amenhotep III (nb-mAat-ra) flanked by two feathers. It is pierced through the length for suspension. The object is very dirty, worn out, and crudely designed.
