Scarab

Scarab carved from amethyst with details roughly shown. Base is decorated with 4 hieroglyphs: an ankh above a neb basket and between two nefer signs. Chipped at the rear end on the top. Pierced through the length. Dated by Prof. Percy Newberry to the early 18th Dynasty.
