Steatite scarab shaped seal with the underside inscribed with the throne name of Thutmose III (Menkhepera) within a cartouche framed by two rearing cobras (uraei) on either side. Has previously been thought to be ivory or bone.

Was on acrylic mount with two others for a display in an education centre before 2008.

Could this be M11005 "Ivory scarab. Forgery." ?
