Scarab

Carnelian scarab with smooth, schematic body, engraved scene: within a rope-pattern border (orlo etrusco), a plump, nude warrior strides to left, looking back over his shoulder. He carries a bow before him in his right hand, and an axe hangs down from his left hand. The outline of his head appears to include the sharp-edged nape of a helmet. Modern wire suspension mount.
