Head from a statuette. Polished steatite. There's a note on the record card for the date: 2nd Inter. (Bothmer) which is a reference to Bernard Bothmer, Professor of Egyptian Art at New York University and Egyptian Department chairman at the Brooklyn Museum. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 243561. Either purchased at Sotheby's 22 October 1934 or Sotheby's 27 October 1934.
