Sealing of King Den

Part of a jar-seal of yellowish, sandy clay mixed with fibre and slightly burnt, bearing the impression of a seal rolled across the surface. A small fragment is mended at the edge but is now quite loose. Newberry records the preservation as fragmentary. Marked by the excavator in black ink on the back 'T', indicating Tomb T, Petrie's King Den Setui. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, very fragile area, crumbly, surface dirt, pitted surface, vegetal remains.
