Part of a jar-seal of fine yellow clay, bearing the impression of a seal rolled across the surface. Marked in ink '197'. The underside has broken off into one large fragment and several small pieces. Marked by the excavator in black ink on the front '197', indicating Tomb V, Petrie's Khasekhemui CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, in several fragments, cracks appearing in each fragment, some discolouration, surface dirt.
