Shabti of Ahmose
M14046
Information
Mummiform shabti of pottery coated with white and blue paint and details in black. Much of which is now worn away, including the inscription on the front which is now bearly visible. Charles Gatty recorded the name as 'Aahmes'. M14036 appears to be of the same owner and the name Ahmose is better preserved although not recorded by Charles Gatty or Percy Newberry and Eric Peet. M14105 also seems to be of the same owner but none of the inscription is preserved.
CONDITION NOTE 1998: Very worn, surface loss, chipped, surface dirt, discolouration.
Gatty Slip (1873): Terracotta sepulchral figure - inscription illegible.
