Information
Threaded cylinder beads of cylindrical shape made from ten ivory (or bone?) and fifty-eight black steatite. Fourteen smaller round beads of black steatite that were found "all up the legs". Modern restringing of the beads. Excavated near the modern village of Hiw, Cemetery U, grave U354, which was recorded by Mr MacIver and which Prof. Petrie described as containing "six flint bracelets on the left arm; necklace of tubular black steatite and ivory; many minute black beads all up the legs." and dated the burial to Sequence Date 70 - 80.
